Agata Grochowska, director
I was very grateful to match with Ed regarding his engagement in my project.
First of all, he was very dedicated and met all deadlines, always finding time to attend additional meetings whenever requested. I was glad to see different versions of music composition demos as soon as the sound development phase started.
As I'm not a sound designer, I wasn’t sure if I could describe the musical terms to Ed correctly. However, he was able to implement my feedback into the first versions of the two soundtracks and transform them to meet my expectations exactly as described.
Edoardo possesses extensive knowledge of classical music and can create a beautiful foundation for all the music alternatives needed.
We had a chance to work with Ed on the short animated film "Don't Burn." The project is a collaboration between four graduating students. Ed Ragnike created the soundtrack for the film.
As the project producer, I want to highlight that Ed was dedicated and involved in the project. It was really inspiring to see new ideas and experiments in each feedback session we had. The communication was clear and on point, and if there was any lack of clarity, Ed would always ask the team before making any decisions. The soundtrack includes a part with live recorded saxophone and trumpet. It was a marvelous experience to see the process of recording live instruments in the studio. Overall, the collaboration we had was smooth and fulfilling.
It's great to see that in "Don't Burn," Edoardo expressed his artistic voice. Even though the final version of the soundtrack is different from what we had in mind at the start of the project, we are very happy with the final result.
